Mint in Original Bag
Marbles still in their original retail packaging — poly bags with printed header cards from the big American makers, unopened or intact. Collectors call it mint-in-bag or MIB, and the packaging is graded alongside the glass.
What to look for
- Original headers and bags carry their own value.
- We do not open sealed packaging to inspect contents.
- Bright, unfaded printing is the premium; store out of direct light.
- Maker attribution on the header is stated exactly as printed.
Collector notes
A sealed bag is a small time capsule: the header card, the staple, the printed price, sometimes a store sticker. That packaging is why mint-in-bag marbles command their own market — collectors pay for the complete artifact, not just the glass inside. Our rule is simple: we never open sealed packaging, so contents are described from what is visible through the bag and the header's own print. Bag condition is graded on the same ten-point scale as loose marbles, with splits, staple rust and sun-fading called out in the notes.
