Dichroic Glass

Dichroic marbles use coated glass that shifts colour depending on the light and viewing angle.

What to look for

  • Turn the marble under warm and cool light to see the shift.
  • Coverage and placement of the dichroic layer matter.
  • Photographs never fully capture it — expect a surprise in hand.
