Ribbon Core
Ribbon cores carry one or two flat bands of colour twisting through the centre, like a ribbon standing on edge inside the glass.
What to look for
- Single-ribbon and double-ribbon are the two main constructions.
- Twist tightness and colour saturation drive desirability.
- Turn the marble to check the ribbon is not folded or broken mid-way.
